Customer Service Manager Responsibilities
Our client is seeking an experienced, passionate Customer Service Manager to lead their growing team. As an essential part of the Customer Service unit, you will be responsible for enhancing team performance and exceeding customer expectations. Leveraging strong interpersonal skills, this role is critical in cultivating enhanced customer experiences in order to maximize sales and drive on time delivery.
Customer Service Manager Activities
In this role, you will:
- Build customer relationships, including managing select customer accounts and programs for key partnership growth.
- Design, implement and manage innovative programs for continuously improved support of customer needs.
- Align and conduct quoting, order generation, gross profit margins, and account positioning for existing customers.
- Identify and deliver methods for improving new product introduction process, driving implementation and ongoing process improvement.
- Expertly anticipate and resolve internal and external project challenges.
- Execute regular business reviews with customers.
- Establish new, and expand existing, customer relationships.
- Lead and manage Customer Service team to ensure customer support.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the management team to develop and execute initiatives, including cross-departmental processes and procedures.
Customer Service Manager Qualifications
- College degree preferred, but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in contract manufacturing sales to OEM customers with a thorough knowledge of business practices, procedures and processes.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- High level of professionalism, dependability, energy and motivation.
- Ability to assess and resolve situational problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to manage multiple issues at one time.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Some travel may be required.
- PC skills in WORD and EXCEL.
- Experience with MRP systems mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
