The Commercial Licensed Pest Control Technician plans, coordinates and deliver’s exceptional pest control services to established clientele.
Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external clients and demonstrates abilities in business development, leadership, organization management and profit generation.
Evening / weekend work may be required based on project workload.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Texas Pest Control Commercial License and / or Certified Technician
- Valid Texas Driver License and acceptable MVR
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Typical Duties
- Maintains and services all route customers according to company standards and procedures.
- Advises customers of potential problems.
- Completes and submits daily service reports as required.
- Informs management of any problems encountered on service routes.
- Calls the office daily for messages.
- Maintains proper inventory of pesticides in use.
- Maintains service records in accordance with EPA standards.
- Maintains service equipment and vehicle in clean and proper operating condition.
- Collects on delinquent accounts.
- Maintains knowledge of technical data concerning chemicals used and their application.
- Maintains knowledge of federal, state and local regulations regarding pest control.
- Completes federal, state, local and company required training programs within prescribed time limits for proper certification.
- Assists on other routes as required by management.
- Works flexible hours as required by customer needs, including evenings, nights and / or weekends.
- Performs other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned.
