Job Posting for Intervention Specialist at Empower Behavioral Health & Intervention
Empower Behavioral Health & Intervention is seeking an Instructional Specialist to join our team.
This position will provide ongoing planning, implementation, development, direction, review and evaluation of the Autism Scholarship Program, school contracts, and other funded educational services. The IS ensures that the education objectives are aligned to state frameworks, Individualized Education Plans and to instructional practices that yield the highest standards of student achievement and instructional excellence.
Hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday
CREDENTIALS REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree; possession of ODE Intervention Specialist license.
Salary Range: $52,000-$65,000
Job Knowledge:
Develops and implements IEP goals, progress monitoring and data collection
Assists in training and evaluation of Instructional Assistants
Assists with developing interventions, onboarding new students
Attends meetings
Develops curriculum and student programming; modifies instruction as needed
Communicate with parents/guardians and other key stakeholders
Desired Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with K-12 students
Prior experience with Applied Behavior Analysis or with special needs children preferred.
Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks
Excellent attendance required.
