Position Summary:
The HR Business Partner is a high-performing experienced HR professional who is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external clients and aligning with them to help deliver their desired business outcomes. This role is a trusted partner to clients and provides guidance and expertise for the full scope of Human Resource functions and disciplines including legal compliance, strategic planning, talent acquisition and performance management, training and development, leadership coaching, employee relations, engagement, and risk management.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop deep, trusting relationships with all Buying Influences at client sites.
- Provide excellent strategic HR service to a variety of high level, large, and complex clients ensuring that they are consistently satisfied with our service.
- Learn each client’s business and understand the business operations and core functions.
- Identify workplace issues and problem solve to find solutions.
- Provide guidance on employment law and compliance.
- Manage all HR aspects of new client implementation.
- Develop and present training courses to management staff at client sites.
- Support clients through mergers, acquisitions, layoffs, organizational restructures, and other business changes.
- Assist in developing performance management processes.
- Successfully handle employee relations issues and investigations.
- Provide subject matter expertise and act as a strategic resource in all areas of human resources.
- Partner with members of the HR team in managing projects, improving human resources processes and programs for clients.
- Extensive local and potential out of town travel required.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of solid strategic human resources experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with HRIS platforms.
- Experience leading teams.
- Strong business knowledge and the ability to understand business metrics.
Work Environment:
- This position operates in a professional office environment.
- This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
- Travel within US 20% of the time.
- Frequent travel to client locations and networking events.
