As a Segment Manager - Advisory Services, you will serve as the primary contact for the participant advisory services program and its distribution to assigned business segments. You'll lead the expansion of investment advice and managed account services to in-force across assigned Empower market segments and work closely with the Sales Director - Advisory Services to execute on cross sales opportunities for in-force clients.
What you will do:
- Act as a consultant and subject matter expert to segment business lines and the Institutional Partners that use the suite of Advisory Services.
- Understand pipeline and sales strategy; determine client opportunities and support needs; and develop annual plan to support needs.
- Deliver standard and/or special reporting to clients in segment business lines and Institutional Partners that use the Advisory Services, as applicable. Includes topics like product performance and impacts to participants and SLA reporting.
- Create, present and execute on campaign strategy to support product rollout, annual support or product updates. Submit regular written reports on results of said campaigns.
- Serve as expert and project manager to new segment business lines that use the suite of Advisory Services, negotiating contracts, assist in the implementation and rollout of the suite of services, including establishing and reporting on AAG SLAs.
- Work with the AAG Business Development staff - support training, sales and demonstration presentations to prospects, existing clients, partners, sales, service, advisors, internal GWRS/AAG staff
- Serve as project team member to develop, implement and roll out enhancements to the AAG suite of participant advisory services in conjunction with AAG Product Development staff. Correspondence with internal/external clients and/or participants, upper management, and agents/brokers.
What you will bring:
- Degree in business, finance or similar field. Without a degree, an additional four years of directly related experience may be accepted.
- Advisory services operational experience is required.
- FINRA Series 65 registration required within corporate-established timelines, and other licenses as determined by Empower's compliance team. FINRA fingerprinting required.

Base Salary Range
$74,800.00 - $105,700.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
