Position Summary :
We are looking for several Delivery Drivers to operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and serve as the face of the company.

Reports To :
The Armored Van Driver will report to the Transport Lead or Operations Manager or Branch Manager
Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to :
- Represents Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
- Maintains positive, friendly, and professional communications with customers, co-workers, and management whether in person, by phone, in writing, and / or through computerized and other electronic means.
- Safely operates vehicles in a variety of traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
- Collects, transports, and delivers currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
- Load and unload ATM machines.
- Uses handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
- Ensures the safe, accurate , and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
- Maintains communications with designated company representatives. Reports delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information in a timely manner .
- Completes documentation and updates into handheld electronic devices.
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
- Maintains the vehicle, equipment, and the facility in clean and operational readiness condition.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications : â€
- High school diploma or equivalent is required .â€
- Working knowledge of navigations tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and / or web-based or physical maps is essential.
- Must be able to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and hand-held devices .
- Physical Requirements :
- Lifting 50 / 75 pounds.
- Sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Alertness and focus for long periods
- Quick decision-making and reaction to road conditions
- Good judgment and adherence to traffic laws
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- One plus years of experience preferred within a delivery driver, route driver, truck driver, medical courier, messenger,†ATM technician, patrol officer, military veteran, secure transport, or security guard position.
- Can be counted on to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
- Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity is of utmost important .
