Job Duties
- Under minimal supervision, the Sales Finance Analyst supports the Sales team to perform cash flow analysis, contract management, customer presentations, and financial analysis on new sales, jobs in pre-construction, and jobs in the construction phases.
- The Sales Finance Analyst performs analysis used in comprehensive weekly sales reporting and revenue forecasting, which includes the identification and mitigation of risks and opportunities for all projects in pipeline and contracting stages.
- Engages in reporting and projects to support the sales group as needed, including providing operational support (e.g., creating proposals, building financial modeling, templatizing reporting), financial impact analysis, and assessment of new business opportunities.
- Supports the month-end close process performing actuals vs forecasted revenue and gross profit values, reconciling change orders and budget adjustments, and acting as an intermediary between the accounting, sales, and project management teams.
- Responsible for collaborating with the sales team, including managing sales output, quotas, and KPIs; coordinating calendars; and collecting multiple data points from Directors of Business Development.
- Investigate and corrects anomalies or inaccuracies in financial data or results
- Provides Ad Hoc analysis supporting decision making on key business issues
- Maintains financial partnerships with sales managers and business leadership
- Support system implementations and system management, documentation of key SOPs, process development, and change management with all key internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in business management, environmental studies, or related program; or 2 years of sales and analytics experience in the renewable industry
- Knowledge of solar; experience running analysis on PV and BESS Systems
- Knowledge of PVsyst, Helioscope, and Energy Toolbase preferred
- Excellent word processing, writing, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite products

- Maintain a valid Drivers License and a good driving record
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to determine work priorities and review work for quality and production standards
- Must be highly motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work both with a team and independently

- Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Must excel with multi-tasking, problem-solving, written, and communication skills
Physical Demands:
- Sit or stand at a desk for 6-8 hours per day performing tasks on a computer
- Requires minimal physical effort with periods of walking and standing with light lifting of files
- Minimal bending, stooping, or reaching
- Occasionally exposure to environmental elements during remote visits
