What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Director position at ENC?
We are seeking a Field Director to join Genesis, a fast-growing organization with opportunities for personal and professional advancement in the in-home non-medical healthcare industry serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a field director you will provide leadership and management oversight to teams of caregivers and their team leaders who support individuals with disabilities served by Genesis in residential settings.
In this role you will:
· Oversee the care team that provides care for those served by Genesis.
· Oversee and supervise team leaders, making sure they are carrying out vision of the company, training and mentoring caregivers, etc.
· Ensure all employees complete and stay updated on required training.
· Ensure that documentation is completed properly and accurately (as well as completing internal/external audits).
· Assist with billing and internal activities that support the billing processes.
· Ensure that recipient rights are respected by team members, report issues regarding recipient rights and participate in investigations as necessary.
· Ensure the proper handling (and accounting for) consumer funds and assist with management of bills for those we support.
· Review and address critical incidents and ensure that Incident Reports are completed timely and accurately.
· Oversee time recordings and scheduling of team members in the payroll system.
· Assist with placement of new team members and on-boarding activities.
· Maintain up-to-date internal staffing patterns.
· Oversee the career development of team leaders and provide mentorship.
· Conduct regular home visits and complete required reporting of findings.
· Serve as the primary liaison for documentation ensuring that documents are collected, completed and audited within set deadlines.
· Work directly with support coordinators and guardians.
· Assisting in implementing new and standing policies and procedures.
· Attend, facilitate and participate in internal and external meetings regarding the care of those Genesis supports and company meetings.
· Being on-call to assist with issues that arise and to support care teams as necessary.
· Serving as temporary team leader for homes that temporarily do not have one.
· Work with team leaders to ensure proper staffing levels and to provide all necessary assistance with finding caregiver coverage when needed.

· Maintain a routine physical presence at each of the homes under your supervision to ensure these duties are implemented.
· As necessary, working in the homes as a measure of staffing coverage (sometimes 40 hours or more in excess of normal work hours), and/or to be physically present to provide supervision as appropriate.
You may be a great fit for this role if you:
· Have 3 years experience providing care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities or in a related care capacity (Mental Illnesses/Traumatic Brain Injuries/etc).
· Take a person-centered approach to providing and managing care for those served.
· Embrace Self Determination and are committed to helping those we serve direct their own lives and participate in facilitating their supports.
· Have 2 years experience leading multiple teams and managing multiple managers.
· Come with knowledge and understanding of Gentle Teaching and a Culture of Gentleness a commitment to delivering support according to these philosophies of care.
· Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent work experience.
