Job Title: Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Location: 100% remote / work from home
Full-time: Salary Benefits Bonuses or Contractor
Work Status: US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
Responsibilities:
• Design of high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks in advanced CMOS technology nodes (12nm, 7nm, 5nm, and 3nm FinFET)
• Careful placement & floor planning circuit blocks, overseeing their layout, and verifying the design using simulations tools
• Testing the design and debugging issues that may arise in all phases of the development
• Work with system architects and the digital design team to define the requirements of each analog/mixed-signal block
• Define bench bring-up and test plans for validation and characterization of the designs
Requirements:
• BSEE/MSEE with 5 years of experience in the area of Analog/Mixed-Signal IC design using advanced CMOS technology nodes
• Deep understanding of analog/mixed signal circuit design and circuit layout for optimum performance with emphasis on high-speed CMOS circuits
• Solid background and knowledge in bandgaps, biasing circuits, op-amps, LDOs, feedback and compensation techniques
• Deep understanding of analog design concepts such as analysis of noise, linearity, mismatch, stability and other analog impairments
• Deep understanding of CMOS device physics, device modeling, device noise parameters
• Direct tape out experience with one or more of the following blocks: ADCs, DACs, PLLs, SerDes, filters, and amplifiers
• Familiarity with packaging effects, supply isolations, high frequency ESD structures, and RF components such as inductors and T-coils
• Familiarity with mixed-mode verification methodology (SystemVerilog and VerilogA)
