Encore Talent Solutions is seeking an eCommerce Marketing Specialist for an end client requirement. The client is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Amazon expert and marketing specialist. Your job will be to expand brand awareness and grow sales for the Company’s various Amazon channels. To succeed in this role, you should have a genuine interest in digital commerce and marketing as well as proven work experience as an Amazon Marketing Specialist. Knowledge of Amazon Vendor and Amazon Seller Central and paid advertising experience is a requirement.
Job Description
Audit and maintaining product listings, support buyer messaging, case management, returns, orders, and general account health. The Amazon Expert/Marketing Specialist will ideate, implement, and analyze the best online marketing strategies through product detail page execution, digital merchandising, and brand-specific content to commerce initiatives. You will also be responsible for the execution and daily optimization of timely and compelling digital marketing campaigns, including PPC, discounts, video, display advertising, and insight-driven reporting.
The ideal candidate has an in-depth enough knowledge of Amazon to personally execute and maintain all aspects of listing creation and optimization, shipping, customer service, and advertising. They will be the e-commerce manager for the company and must be comfortable reporting on performance, answering questions for other departments, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. The right person will grow the Amazon business and eventually take over other online channels. We’re looking for someone who can be an in-house expert on all things Amazon.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Creating, monitoring, and reporting on digital ad campaigns to meet company targets
· Optimize budgets and spending according to social media ad performance
· Liaise between sales, marketing, and the account to effectively execute retailer specific merchandising and promotional initiatives
· Analyze data to determine ways to optimize performance to improve conversion rates, open percentages, and other key metrics
· Provide high-quality performance reports to supervisors
· Make recommendations to continually improve performance by analyzing internal results, and competitive data, and keeping on top of industry trends
· Document clearly defined action steps and recommendations
Requirements
· Proven work experience as an Amazon Marketing Specialist
· A bachelor’s degree in a marketing course or relevant work experience
· Hands-on e-commerce or online market place experience
· Knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central and paid advertising experience (pay-per-click)
· Digital Marketing Experience- ability to conceptualize and create graphics. Video editing skills a plus.
· Advanced Excel knowledge and skills required in order to succeed in this role
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
· Strong ability to multitask and self-manage
Skills and expertise
- E-commerce: Minimum three (3) years of professional experience managing and developing a commercial company’s e-commerce shop with documented superior results, preferably with an excellent understanding of and experience with Amazon.
- Amazon: Minimum three (3) years of professional experience working with consumer products within Amazon’s ecosystem. You possess an exceptional understanding of funnel strategies, keyword optimization, content and pricing optimization, ad tactics, and search within Amazon. Experience from other third-party online ecosystems is also meriting.
- Excellent proficiency in Paid search within Amazon advertising portal as well as outside analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics and Google Shop.
- Proficiency in using social media to build brand awareness and drive traffic.
- Proficient in SEO, such as Content Creation, External and internal links, and Technical (page experience, tracking, sitemaps, robots.txt, etc.) Competencies
- You have a genuinely intense interest in digital commerce and marketing, and you can show evidence of how you have established new ways to create customer value and build sales in previous roles
