What are the responsibilities and job description for the Universal Banker position at Endeavor Bank?
Endeavor Bank is actively recruiting a Universal Banker to work at our downtown San Diego Branch. In addition to teller responsibilities, the right candidate will also have the opportunity to work with our new accounts team as well as performing a variety of operational duties under the direction of our Branch Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be experienced in overall bank operations and will display the ability to “Figure it Out”, which is one of our core values. Our Universal Banker will be mindful of risk mitigation and must follow and remain in compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:
- Accurately process teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, wire requests, transfer requests and loan payments.
- Follow established BSA procedures. Report large and unusual transactions to BSA team.
- Provide ongoing relationship servicing with current clients to maintain goodwill and gain additional business.
- Make appropriate referrals for other bank products and services including loans
- Review and follow up on daily report activity
- Respond to client inquiries and requests whether made in person, via telephone or through e-mail
- Perform other departmental duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 6 months Bank experience that includes teller responsibilities
- Proficient using Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work scheduled hours at downtown San Diego branch and maintain regular attendance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Notary Public. (If not currently a Notary Public, you must agree to take and pass classes as scheduled with Supervisor. This typically will take place during the first 30 days of employment).
