JOB PURPOSE:
The Security Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing the overall monitoring the overall security operations of Endeavors and will plan, and coordinate the security operations of the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and develop the overall safety and security strategy for Endeavors. Create, implement and communicate security policies and procedures.
- Create reports for management on security status. Develop security KPIs. Measure and track department's success regularly and create reports and present KPIs.
- Suggest and implement new solutions. Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures. Prepare, Write and Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.
- Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs. Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events.
- Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms.
- Conducts inspections to identify safety, and security risks; recommends and implements solutions. Conducts risk management audits and asset loss investigations.
- Coordinates with local law enforcement and safety staff as required to support and/or conduct investigations and prosecutions.
- Drafts and submits reports and work orders related to fire, safety, and security operations. Review reports on incidents and breaches.
- Investigate and resolve issues.
- Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology).
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement, Business Management, or related field or demonstrated equivalent experience. A security certification such as Certified Protection Professional or Physical Security Professional from American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Proven experience as security manager or similar position. Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. Video Surveillance System (VSS)). Experience in reporting and emergency response planning. Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures. Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis. Working knowledge of MS Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills. Committed and reliable.
- Expertise in principles and practices of the principles of physical security, security management, supervision and training;
- Knowledge of federal, State and local laws, regulations, ordinances and best practices as it pertains to security;
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of security procedures, policies and organization;
- Expertise in principles and practices of public safety and security, including injury prevention, ergonomics, incident tracking; investigation, security assessments, emergency preparedness, training and OSHA compliance;
- Knowledge of trends and developments concerning safety and security;
- Ability to take prompt action to address issues, solve problems and support the organization;
- Ability to Initiate, facilitate, plan or implement change; support innovation and creativity;
- Outstanding communication and time-management skills;
- Sound judgment and the ability to make independent decisions;

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.
OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must be available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required to meet business needs.
