DescriptionEndicott College is seeking a part-time Clinical Coordinator to join the Clinical Placement Office at the Cummings School of Nursing and Health Sciences. This is a part-time position working 21 hours per week.Responsibilities include:Successfully place all undergraduate and graduate students in Clinical and Internship placements required for degree completion. Provide students with onboarding requirements for Internship and clinical placement and verify requirements are met. Communicate with preceptors, Internship faculty, ABSN Chair, and Graduate Chairs all aspects of the clinical/internship placement for students prior to and throughout the clinical/internship experience. Coordinate with the Associate Dean, Graduate Chairs, Clinical Coordinator, and Director of Clinical Education on clinical and internship opportunities; Maintain proficiency with all aspects of the Centralized Clinical Placement (CCP) platform for the State of MA Secure and maintain clinical/Internship sites and assure ongoing collegial relationships with our practice partners. Ensure all Clinical affiliation contracts for internships are in place, current and executed.Act as liaison between faculty and health care facility to coordinate the clinical/ internship experience, communicating the preceptor’s role and their supervisory responsibilities and credentials. Communicate clinical/internship placements and requirements to students efficiently and accurately at all points of the process within the time constraints of the practice setting to assure the SON is compliant with state and national accreditation standards. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree; Prior experience with Internship or clinical placement program preferred; Commitment to inclusive education and supporting cultural differences among undergraduate and graduate students with a lens toward social justice education; Ability to work as part of a team; Effective critical thinking; Effective interpersonal, communication and customer satisfaction skills; Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Forms, Drive), Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint) Adobe Acrobat Willingness to be trained in other technologies associated with the position (CCP, Castle branch, CARS, and Canvas) Endicott College celebrates diversity and strives to bring a mix of talented people— representing a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills—together to do their best work.
