Internship Title: Program Director (Paid Internship)
Reports To: Board of Directors
Job Overview:
The Program Director serves as the chief officer of the Endless Mountains Drop-In Center program’s, working closely with the Board to fulfill the organization’s vision and mission. This individual will lead with passion, embodying the values that allow youth to experience joy and perseverance. The role demands a commitment to improving programs, managing operations, and fostering strong relationships with staff, volunteers, and community partners.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee and manage the organization’s volunteers, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Organize and facilitate board meetings, providing comprehensive reports and strategic recommendations.
Spearhead program development and improvement initiatives aligned with the organization’s goals, mission and vision.
Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to advance the organization’s mission.
Ensure the organization’s compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements internally and externally.
Actively pursues fundraising and grant opportunities

Qualifications:
Current undergraduate or graduate student, with a preference for a background in nonprofit management, social work, education or a related field.
Proven effectiveness in leading and organizing small teams.
A commitment to living in harmony with and embodying the organization’s values, mission, and vision.
Criminal History Background checks, FBI fingerprinting and Child abuse clearances will be necessary.
Skills:
Demonstrated leadership aligning with the strategic direction set by the Board.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships and build partnerships.
Excellent organizational skills with a self-driven and motivated approach to advancing the organization.
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work from home, but availability for regular in-person meetings and programs in the Tunkhannock area is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
The position offers flexible work hours and the possibility to work from home.
The expectation for this role includes 12 hours a week
Opportunities for training and personal development are provided.
The compensation is $300-350 monthly stipend.
At least one semester
