Due to continued growth, our Power Delivery group is seeking Utility Communication Specialists for our Dade County, FL location. This will be a field position and this person must live in the Dade County, FL area.
Compensation for this role is $26/hr.
Responsibilities (including but are not limited to)
- Contacting each assigned property owner.
- Building positive relationships with customers.
- Discussing the project and proposed equipment placement with customers/property owners.
- Gaining the customer's agreement to proceed with the project as planned
- Acquiring the property owner's signature on any necessary easements and acknowledgment forms.
- Facilitate ongoing communication with the property owners and property occupants throughout all stages of the project, in accordance with client's policies and procedures.
- Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports.
- Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols.
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
Required Qualifications / skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related field (internships and work experience a plus) - OR - Associate's and minimum of 3 years' experience - OR - High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules.
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications (i.e., iPad).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical requirements include walking outdoors with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy conditions caused by the weather.
Employment requirement
- Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies.
- Must have a safe driving record.
Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
