Job Description
This candidate will be Addressing daily HVAC production issues brought in from the production team. Ideally, two plus years of experience in maritime HVAC is required. Responsibilities will include: designing, modeling, and checking of HVAC systems, working with other departments (piping, structural, electrical to complete designs for Frigate vessels, and attending module meetings to discuss and plan for each HVAC project piece. Design requirements will include: checking designs in AutoCAD or Ship Constructor to confirm NAVSEA compliance and purchasing specification pieces to fill in any HVAC gaps that may be missing in the "checking" phase of the design

- Knowledge of HVAC calculations- heat loads, pressure drop calculations, pressure loss calculations
- Experience reading and writing technical HVAC specifications such as HVAC purchase speccifactions
- Experience in maritime HVAC Engineering -- fans, cooling systems, cooling coils, ductwork, etc.
- ShipConstructor OR AutoCad software knowledge
- Maritime HVAC design and modeling experience in any software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
