Requirements
Must Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5-10 years of hands-on mechanical systems design experience.
Proficiency in CAD software AutoDesk Inventor (), SolidWorks, etc. Working knowledge of multiple CAD systems is desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with materials selection, stress analysis, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice To Haves
Strong preference for experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), particularly with ANSYS modeling and analysis.
Working knowledge of multiple CAD systems is highly desired.
Experience in designing large, high-capacity structures, such as mobile heavy equipment.
Practical, hands-on experience in manufacturing or related industries.
Experience with designing powertrain and engine installation systems is a plus.
Familiarity with hydraulic or electrical system designs is beneficial.
A holistic system design approach for heavy equipment is key.
Key Responsibilities
Take the lead in creating cutting-edge mechanical designs for machinery and components, starting from scratch and carrying out thorough prototype tests before finalizing the design and launching the product.
Utilize a systematic approach to integrate various systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, structures, engine packaging, and electrical components to ensure optimal functionality of the machine.
Be responsible for specifying and defining components and systems for mobile equipment, ranging from simple gears and brackets to complex powertrain assemblies, hydraulic systems, and even entire machines.
Offer valuable assistance to clients in swiftly resolving specific concerns they may have.
Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow engineers to support their projects' design and development journey.
Demonstrate technical leadership by ensuring the timely completion of projects and delivery of desired outcomes.
Lead and foster collaboration among cross-functional design teams throughout the entire design and development process.
