Summary:
As Process Engineer, you will join the Energy Transfer team of dedicated individuals committed to the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Revolution Cryogenic Gas Plant in Bulger, PA as well as our compressor station operations in the area. The process engineer will reside in the main office that is located in Wexford, PA. The duties would include:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the daily technical and operational engineering oversight of Natural Gas and Natural Gas Liquids processing, including treatment, fractionation, compression and utilities operations.
* Learn company and facility safety, environmental, operations and maintenance methods and procedures.
* Provide recommendations to optimize throughput, product recovery, fuel usage, electric, and process efficiencies, as it relates to product quality, molecular sieve life, equipment health, chemical usage, alarm management and emissions calculations.
* Responsible for managing a wide range of small expense or capital projects from conception to post auditing. Projects will be required to meet scope, budget, and schedule objectives.
* Communicate effectively with company Operations and Business Development personnel to production plan delivery.
* Provide process support to the development and execution of large capital projects.
* Take part in and support Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, including process design reviews, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Management Of Change (MOC), training, etc.
* Work with various discipline engineers and technicians (process, mechanical, electrical, instrument, controls, etc.) to ensure excellence in Process Safety, Reliability and Environmentally sound operation.
* Provide after hour and occasional night/weekend support for planned unit shutdowns, unplanned unit upsets and start-up of new projects.
* Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen process engineering knowledge base and proficiencies.
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical (preferred), Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
* Previous experience in refinery, chemical plant, pipeline and/or processing industry strongly preferred.
* Experience comprehending equipment, piping, instrument, and electrical diagrams.
* Self-motivated individual with a high level of initiative.
* Position requires the ability to balance multiple projects/tasks simultaneously with the ability to prioritize in response to changing business needs.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, sound organizational skills
* Proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships. Ability to function effectively in a team environment, both as a team leader as well as a functional team member.
* Knowledge of industry safety practices
* Working knowledge with Microsoft Products and Engineering Simulation Programs
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
* The Associate Engineer level requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 0-3 years of relevant job-related experience.
* The Engineer level requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 3-6 years of relevant job-related experience.
* The Sr. Engineer level requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 6-10 years of relevant job-related experience.

* Normal office working conditions and operating plant environment.
* Ability to reach various work areas in the plant, such as climb ladders, negotiate elevated platforms, and enter vessels.
* Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hat, safety glasses, safety boots, gloves and hearing protection.
* Ability to pass annual respirator fit test.
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
* Willingness to occasionally travel to other facilities to support operations.
