This position will be focusing primarily on our Energy Systems line of business, which include telecommunications, IT, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), utilities and switchgear, security, emergency lighting and general electronics. Some of the reserve power brands include PowerSafe,DataSafe, and Genesis. Our extensive product range serves a variety of reserve power applications and consistently delivers the most effective, powerful and reliable batteries available.
Job Purpose
The HR Administrator can expect to grow their HR knowledge and experience in a thriving global organization. This individual will be responsible for a variety of areas such as onboarding, full-cycle recruitment, HRIS management, general HR administration, assisting employees and ad hoc HR projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and conducts new hire onboarding;
- Ensures managers and supervisors are knowledgeable about their responsibilities regarding hiring, performance management, HR policies and employee exit procedures;
- Assist with Kronos timekeeping reviews to ensure managers have completed all tasks prior to payroll deadline.
- Electronically file and store all employee documents.
- Support the HR Manager by providing information to employees as required.
- Enter all compensation changes, terminations, shift changes and reorganization information into SAP Success Factors.
- Prepare reports using Success Factors and excel on an as needed basis.
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment for hourly employees: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing of fixed-term positions within defined parameters and standard recruitment practices
- Manage all summer student and intern recruitment and relationships
- Responsible for the HRIS system (SAP) as the primary manager for HR Data for the Suwanee and Distribution Center employees’ team, including reports generation
- Review and conduct company training as required
- May investigate or seek assistance for employees with issues related to pay, benefits and employee relations.
- May meet with managers and employees to educate, discuss issues, resolve conflict, problem solve, and provide support concerning employee relations and recruiting issues
- Assist with responding to general employee questions on HR matters
- Regularly reviews all posted employee communications, updates as necessary and ensures postings are in both Spanish and English.
- Collaborate with the HR Team on various projects such as:
o Ongoing development of Human Resource function within the company
o Internal communications
o Compensation management
o Performance management
- Actively promote and contribute to a positive and productive workplace environment
- Work on ad hoc projects as required
- Assist other HR Team members as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Fully Bi-lingual, English/Spanish. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in both languages.
- University degree or college diploma in a related discipline preferred (Business, HR)
- PHR or working towards an HR certification preferred.
- At least 2 years’ experience in HR or Recruiting field.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and report generation, specifically SAP SuccessFactors is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills including written, oral, and listening
- Strong ability to build trusting professional relationships with all departments and across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and action orientation
- Resourceful, creative problem solver
- Exceptional computer skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Able to handle challenging situations in a confidential and diplomatic manner

- Strong knowledge of legislations related to HR.
