What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professional Services Manager position at Enghouse?
The Project Manager oversees client relationships and project execution from initiation to final delivery. The PM will work independently to drive successful completion of various projects that may include solution deployment, software and hardware installation, adoption training, integration and escalations.
Responsibilities include full project/account management
- Direct and Manage day-to-day activities of projects; oftentimes multiple, simultaneous projects
- In collaboration with senior management and others as needed, define project scope, objectives and deliverables that support business goals
- Ensure project schedules are kept; proactively address matters that may impact deadlines
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships
- Understand client needs, and advocate on behalf of clients to ensure project success.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- React to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Provide deployment/training activity specifications
- Serve as a liaison between customers and internal technical and sales resources
- Work with Account Lead to identify sales opportunities relative to a project
Who you are:
- 5 years of consulting program/project management/professional services experience in leading software development and deployment
- Excellent critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills that are relatable to all levels
- Natural presence/comfortable presenting to internal and external customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to direct and support project teams
- Able to build a collaborative working environment with cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
- Superb planning and organizational skills
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines in a high-pressure environment is essential.
- Adaptability and multi-tasking; experience working in a fast moving environment
- Technical aptitude including experience with visual communications, networking, firewalls, etc. with Fortune 500 companies
- Ability to detect project risks and build contingency plans
- Strong negotiations skills for effective engagement and project management
- BS/BA degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Consulting program/project management experience a plus
- Preferred PMI and/or Scrum Product Owner certification
- 3-5 SaaS
