What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern Electric Mobility Engineer position at ENGIE North America Inc.?

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about the new eMobility world. The intern will support the recently created electric mobility core team at Engie Solutions to strengthen the technical offer, update and conduct studies on potential partnerships and technologies.

Reporting to the Green Mobility TechExp, this position sits in Oakland, CA is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

What you'll do:

  • Project Development & Coordination:
    • Assist the team with accomplishing tasks related to the development of the solution or projects
    • Assist weekly eMobility gathering, support coordination
  • Market Screening: Update technological study on eMobility providers and conduct specific studies related to electric mobility in the US.
  • Tool Improvement: Learn and optimize internal eMobility fleet analysis tool
  • Methodology: Develop methodology to track and share grants and incentives with the business development team

What you bring:

  • Pursuing energy or environmental engineering related degree with low carbon mobility interest.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Research and compilation skills
