A Day in the Life:
On a typical day, you will manage the operations of your store. Your tasks will include counting inventory, hiring, assisting team members in making sales, and coaching employees. Also, you will act as a mentor for your Assistant Store Manager. You will be responsible for meeting store sales goals and implementing new promotions. You will also complete trainings and attend weekly sales leadership calls. You will drive our business forward by always motivating your team to do their best in every guest interaction.
General Manager Responsibilities:
- Create a high performing team by recruiting, hiring, and developing team members
- Ensure staff is aware of all new products, promotions, and procedures
- Execute Victra Safety Pledge, merchandise display plans, advertising, and sales promotions
- Uphold our company core values by working with integrity everyday
- Consistently find ways to increase employee and location productivity and profitability
- Deliver results -- understand the Guest is our #1 priority
- Manage and motivate sales team with energy and enthusiasm to ensure sales goals are achieved or exceeded
- Provide effective performance management to all team members and set timeframes for achievement
- Efficiently manage the availability of merchandise by maintaining inventory levels
- Manage the security of merchandise and the safety of employees by adhering to security standards
- Schedule staff at location to ensure we have the right people on the sales floor at the right time
- Handle all intensified customer service issues with professionalism
- Execute daily operational procedures with efficiency, diligence, and integrity
- Communicate, execute, and implement Victra policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Next to being committed to superior customer service, you also have experience leading a team to greatness. We look for you to also bring the following:
- High School diploma, AA preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a retail sales environment, 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge
- Relevant history of high retail sales performance
- Basic Math Skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Max: $49,831.60

- Ability to lift to 10 pounds
Training Requirements
- All General Managers are required to attend and successfully complete a 4-day New Hire University (NHU) training program within 2 weeks of their official start date. This class may include overnight travel at the company's expense
- All General Managers are required to attend and successfully complete a 3-day Store Manager University (SMU) training program within 30 days of completing NHU. This class may include overnight travel at the company's expense
- Various online and computer-based training will be required throughout employment with Victra
