What you’ll do here:
-
Assist the Sr. Director Strategic Finance and senior management in the underwriting and modeling of financing and disposition opportunities
-
Lead and project manage financing and disposition opportunities which includes identification of assets, negotiating documents, due diligence, working with operators and closing
-
Perform strategic real estate market analysis including evaluation of competitors’ locations and operations
-
Assist capital providers with research and provide support as needed
-
Work with counsel (both internal and external), bankers and other 3rd parties as needed
-
Manage coordinating financing third party reports, coordinating internal diligence reviews, reviewing operating budgets and statements
-
Develop deal packages for approval by the Board with support from the Strategic Finance team
-
Participate in negotiation of all major documents memorializing the transaction, including non-disclosure agreements, letters of intent and purchase and sale agreements

Provide assistance in closing transactions, which includes reviewing settlement statements and proration schedules

Develop business relationships to source new opportunities

Additional duties as assigned, including cross functional work with a strategic finance lens
We’d love to talk if you have:
-
At least 2 years of experience in underwriting commercial real estate/highly analytical role
-
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in finance, accounting or real estate
-
Demonstrated experience with financial analysis, property due diligence
-
Advanced excel and valuation modeling skills
-
Strong follow-through skills, detail oriented and ability to work independently

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines and communicate effectively with a variety of constituent groups such as senior management, peers, and outside contacts

Ability to manage changing priorities
