What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Control Specialist position at EnovaPremier LLC?
Primary Processes
Purpose: Support plant production control systems and materials management. Support the company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Coach and develop Production Control Team Members/Leaders by fostering the EPIQ Way.
- Perform all internal inventory audits and daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts.
- Assure systematic moves for material going to NCH (non-conforming hold) locations and out of NCH locations.
- Supervises Production Control Team Leaders/Members as direct reports, developing all through problem solving and The EPIQ Way. Assist in hiring, coaching and recommendations for promotion and/or separation.
- Monitor inventory in special areas making sure material is moving back into inventory or being scrapped out.
- Plan daily production in order to manage customer demand and fluctuation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy according to EnovaPremier MRP standards.
- Process supplier RGAs including logistics of shipments, post systematic move to update inventory.
- Manage all prototype or special customer orders outside of normal ordering process (i.e. EDI).
- Create weekly orders for suppliers, verify and update CMS and production plan.
- Track late loads at all hours via internet, phone and text.
- Manage trailer and the contracted shunt drivers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Analytical Ability:
Strong decision making ability.
Communication Ability:
Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Maintain strict confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information to which entrusted.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with MS Office products required, primarily Excel. MRP experience required, inventory experience required.
Education and Competencies:
Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Management Experience:
1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Qualifications:
3 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong logistical background. Knowledge of general inventory control procedures. Results oriented. Customer first mentality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
