Job Description

Responsible for leading business development for Enovity in all product lines to grow the business. The Director is responsible for leading a team of Business Developers and administrative staff to grow sales and revenue year over year, and leverage corporate marketing resources to implement a strategic marketing plan for the Western Region. Also responsible for leading internal messaging and communication activities

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES


Management

  • Management Team. Participate in management team functions including forecasting, performance reporting, initiatives, leadership, and various priorities to deliver the business expectations.

  • Salesforce Management. Oversee and manage the use of Salesforce by all team members to maintain a high level of data integrity.

  • Resource Management. Manage and lead a team of Business Developers, Proposal Writer, and Inside Sales to support and grow the business.

  • Developer Meetings. Lead regularly scheduled Developer’s meetings to manage activities throughout the organization.

  • Business Unit Team. Participate in the business unit’s coordination activities and meetings to maintain alignment across the business unit (West/Central/East) and Veolia North America.

Business Development

  • Sales. Deliver sales bookings and revenue in line with performance goals.

  • Lead Generation. Structure, manage, and grow a lead generation process to increase and qualify opportunities.

  • Subscription Services Management. Manage and maintain subscriptions for markets, industries, and clients for notices for RFQ and RFP requests. Filter requests and assign appropriate team members.

  • Qualifications Management. Manage and maintain the qualifications content (internal resumes, reference projects, templates, etc.).

  • Proposal Management. Manage and maintain consistent organization for systems and documents.

  • Account Management Support. Support existing business proposal requirements.

  • New Account Management Development. Develop and implement account development strategies to grow new accounts.

Proposal Management


  • Proposal Response Team Leadership. Lead proposal teams (including operational personnel) to coordinate multiple proposal response activities with proposal development schedules and meet deadlines.

  • Policy Compliance. Ensure approval policies are followed including contract legal reviews and management approvals.

Marketing

  • Corporate Marketing. Work with the corporate team to align and develop and implement a regional marketing strategy and communications.

  • Corporate Strategy. Work with the corporate team on market strategies and offerings.

Internal Communications

  • Internal Company Emails. Work with the management team to develop internal messaging and reporting.

  • Internal Company Meetings. Work with the management team to facilitate and host internal team meetings

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background

  • Minimum 15 years industry and technical sales experience

  • Experience in personnel management of interdisciplinary teams

  • College degree required (engineering or other technical field preferred)

  • MBA (preferred but not required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • San Francisco or Irvine based

  • 15% travel required (including vehicle, rail and air travel).

  • Ability to climb ladders (including vertical ladders), walk safely through and navigate construction sites.
