· Design and development of a variety of tooling and fixtures
· Detailing of components and assemblies
· Provide engineering support throughout manufacturing phase
· Debugging and troubleshooting during production phase
· Oversee and follow through of various process validations
· Develop and implement continuous improvements to existing processes
· Maintain engineering records per company SOP

Skills and Experience Required:
· 5 or more years CAD experience (Solidworks a plus)
· 5 years or more in manufacturing environment (injection molding a plus)
· Demonstrated proficiency in setting and achieving goals

· Demonstrated proficiency in teamwork skills
· Demonstrated proficiency in organizational skills

Education:

Work Environment
· This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Requirements
· The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing, sitting, or walking a minimum of eight (8) hours a day. Lifting up to 15 pounds on a frequent basis, up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulders on a frequent basis. This position also requires a person to be capable of performing sustained motion for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day and capable of repetitive motion for up to four (4) hours. Good vision at close distance is required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time, exempt position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Hours specifically determined in coordination with the Engineering Manager.
