Here at EIT we pride ourselves on our core values of safety, urgency, positive attitude, and teamwork. As a CNC Machinist you will repair or manufacture large steel equipment such as mandrels, steel mill rolls, bearing housing, gear cases, large shafts, and large forgings or castings.
Job Description
Equipment:
- Giddings & Lewis Large 6” CNC Mill
- Giddings & Lewis Manual 5-6” Boring Mill
- Large 4 Axis Horizontal Mill
- Small CNC Hyundai WF6500 with Fanuc Controls
- Small CNC Romi Lathe 828D Controls
- Small & Large Lathes with 24-60” Chucks
Abilities:
- G&M programming
- Setting and operating CNC Mills
- Troubleshoot and adjust machines when needed
- Make type offset adjustments to maintain dimensional integrity
- Read and interpret blueprints
