Experienced in the most current electronic and electrical engineering principles and practices. The specialist engineering experience shall be in a NAS laboratory related discipline such as command and control, communications, workstation, radar, maintenance, laboratory configuration and setup, and computer automation fields. The specialist also provides expertise in the techniques and tools such as computer-aided engineering, spreadsheets, word processor, graphics/presentations, and others used in engineering analysis and documentation. The Technical Specialist shall have expertise in updating and following NAS maintenance procedures.
Required Experience: The ideal candidate must have three (3) to ten (10) years of experience with Second Level support for NAS systems and/or site support experience.
Required Skills: Skills supporting networks and systems that include: Local area networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), peripheral devices, personal computer (PC) workstations, laptops, general office automation and collaboration software, and FAA-specific software.
