ENSCO, Inc. is seeking a Configuration Systems Specialist with demonstrated knowledge in full life cycle configuration management (CM) development for Avionics and Hybrid Electric Vehicles. The position will focus on the full life cycle process of creating, managing and shepherding change requests (CRs) through the CM system. Deep understanding of CM processes including ways to improve them will be necessary. Documents are managed within the Windchill CM toolset, knowledge and experience with Windchill will be required for the position. The position will communicate with customers both internal and external to ensure completeness and compliance. The position will utilize CM best practice and maintain all required company compliance. Mentoring of other individuals in these processes as needed will be requested.
- BS or equiv; min 5 yrs related exp.
- Experience with Commercial/Military Avionic and/or HEV configuration process
- Significant full life cycle CM experience on complex programs with a solid record of success
- Configuration management mastery using Windchill or similar tool
- Experience with Windchill or similar tool administrative processes
- Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Experience mentoring others in CM process
- Experience with CM proposals
