About the Position
Ensemble Music Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part-time with our Houston Music School, Lessons on the Go.
This teaching position is IN PERSON and in Students' homes and serves the zip codes:
77380-77382, 77384, 77389, 77375, and 77385
Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. This position is unique as the instructor will need a reliable mode of transportation as they will be instructing in family residences, in person.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in piano performance or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is $40 per hour as an independent contractor.

This posting is for Lessons on the Go. Lessons on the Go is a traveling music school offering the convenience of home lessons in The Woodlands and select other neighborhoods of Houston, Texas. The school was founded in 2011 and offers over 15 teachers instructing in piano, voice, guitar and violin, and cello.
