What will I be doing?
$25 to $30/hour. Preference will be given to applicants with pervious Retail Management Experience

The Grand Junction Area Retail Manager is responsible for the successful daily operation of the designated retail locations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: store, kiosk and Ice Cream Truck staffing; training; merchandising; cash management; cleanliness; customer service; inventory management; enforcement of company policies and procedures, and; attainment of store budget goals. Above all, a store manager is responsible for maintaining the highest standards in customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly service to all customers and staff
- Maintain an attractive, safe, customer friendly store environment
- Maintain Ice Cream truck and Kiosks in accordance with Health Department requirements
- Hire and train retail personnel
- Maintain and manage staff schedules using scheduling software
- Maintain superior location sanitation
- Ensure customer and employee safety
- Maintenance of location inventories commensurate with sales volume
- Product rotation
- Daily cash reconciliation
- Supervise customer service, handle special orders, coordinate store tours
- Handle donation requests appropriately
- Develop and implement and manage Good Manufacturing Practices for each location.
- Responsible for knowing company product recall procedures to ensure HACCP compliance.
- Assure adherence to company safety policies
- Maintain location merchandising according to company guidelines
- Maintain store décor according to company guidelines
- Responsible for managing each location in a manner consistent with the attainment of store budget guidelines to include: Sales; labor; gross profit; net profit; store expenses.
- Oversee monthly physical inventory process
- Assist with managing time clock punches and time off using time clock computerized system
- Conduct regular staff performance reviews in accordance with company policy.
- Other duties as assigned
What do I need to know?
- Skill and Ability: excellent customer service and people skills; good people skills, demonstrated employee scheduling experience, effective leadership skills, expertise in conflict resolution; artistic and display skills to maintain store attractiveness; strong retail experience; good math and organizational skills; fluency in written and spoken English. Familiarity with cash handling, till reconciliation, inventory management, budgeting, and basic cost accounting principles
- Tools, Equipment or Machinery Used: shrink wrapper, sealer, Store POS, calculator, PC (Windows), laminate, Point of Sales system, Timeclock/HR system
- Minimum Physical Requirements: ability to visit all assigned locations, stand, lift up to 30 lbs, bend, stoop, climb, kneel, see, hear; handle or feel objects and tools; grasp, turn, raise arms above shoulder height
- Personal Qualities: commitment to excellence in all areas, quality and accuracy of output; cooperation and reliability; initiative, alertness and judgment
- Risk of Personal Injury or Assault: Moderate, must follow safety procedures
