Environmental Specialist (Carlsbad, New Mexico)
The position is for an Environmental Specialist in Carlsbad, New Mexico Area with 1-5 years of experience. The Environmental Specialist will assist with projects that require completing the following task :
Spill Cleanup / Remediation
LDAR Management
Sampling air, soil, and groundwater
The ideal candidate will be expected to interface with corporate personnel to collect sampling and monitoring data for assimilation into required reports and recordkeeping.
Candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, a working knowledge of state and federal air, soil, and water regulations, and the ability to work with senior environmental engineers to deliver environmental support to upstream and downstream clients.
The candidate should be flexible, willing to travel (valid driver’s license) work extended hours when required in the office or in the field, is self-motivated and can work from home without supervision, at the client’s office, or with other company staff and managers.
