Summary : Seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Technician for mechanical assembly, machine operation, and equipment maintenance tasks.
Job Requirements :
Completion of accredited apprenticeship training or three years of technical training courses beyond high school.
3-5 years of experience in a mechanical assembly role.
Preferred Skills :
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency with hand and power tools for machinery disassembly.
Skilled in fitting and laying out mating parts for assemblies.
Capable of replacing defective or worn parts and reassembling machinery.
Knowledgeable in adjusting control devices to specifications.
Job Responsibilities :
Dismantle, rebuild, adjust, clean, inspect, repair, paint, and assemble equipment including electrical hookup for tests or demonstrations.
Operate all primary and auxiliary equipment for various tests while maintaining equipment and facilities.
Set up preparation of primary and auxiliary equipment as instructed.
Record pertinent data from primary and auxiliary test machinery operations as directed.
Conduct routine evaluation of sample materials when required.
Modify components for tests to ensure successful demonstrations.
Pay Details : $18.00 to $25.00 per hour
