Summary: Seeking an experienced Controls Engineer with expertise in automation controls for food production equipment in a GMP manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting manufacturing controls systems.
Proficiency with Allen Bradley equipment and systems including Control Logix, SLC-500, Micro, Remote IO, Power Flex Drives, SMC Soft Starters, E300/200 Electronic Overloads, Panelview Plus, Panel View 5000, Thin Client, Stratix switches, and generic field IO Devices.
Proficiency with Rockwell Software such as Studio5K, FTView, Logix 500, Linx, Asset Centre, Historian and Thin Manager.
Proficiency with AutoCAD - Autodesk software.
Electrical knowledge (National Electrical Code) and control system design to meet NEC and NFPA requirements.
Good understanding of motor controls circuits.
In-depth understanding of Ethernet/IP communication protocol.
Hands-on experience calibrating/setting up industrial instrumentation like flowmeters and level sensors.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve automation controls for food production equipment within a 24/7 GMP manufacturing environment.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for maintenance personnel.
Assist with the integration of new equipment installations ranging from simple stand-alone units to elaborate integrated systems.
Adhere to all applicable safety and electrical codes.
- Provide technical support of automation and controls systems for a 24/7 manufacturing operation including hands-on assistance and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose electrical wiring issues related to relay logic control & safety circuits electronic boards PLC's HMI's contractors & motors.
- Collaborate closely with the Maintenance & Operations associates to address plant issues & incorporate new equipment capabilities & controls.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
