Electrical Engineer
Qualifications:
- Circuit design
- Capability to design and develop Schematics, verification of performance to requirements
- Schematic Capture and Circuit Analysis Tools (Cadence preferred but other tools acceptable)
- Knowledge of Electrical Hardware and Microprocessor Architecture
- Knowledge of Power Electronics, Analog and Digital Circuits
- Knowledge of 3 Phase machine operation/analysis
- Bench, Test Stand, and Vehicle debug and analysis
- Ability to read schematics and PCB layout
- Debugging with Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Logic analyzers, etc.
- Knowledge of automotive systems
- Basic programming skills
- Documentation (customer requirements capture and interpretation)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with motors, sensors and electromagnetics (EMI/EMC)
- Familiarity with digital communications protocols (CAN, LIN, SENT, I2C, SPI, etc.)
- Knowledge of Customer Specific CAN tools and Requirements (CANalyzer, CANape Preferred)
- Knowledge of safety critical 32-bit microprocessors/microcontroller architectures
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 Safety Standards and Requirements
- IPC 610 Standards Class II and III, and other applicable IPC Standards Preferred
- Understanding of Manufacturing control plan and PFMEA, other APQP documentation processes (ex. PPAP)
