Summary: Seeking a Field Service Engineer with experience in manufacturing and the automotive industry for part-time support at Ford Dearborn stamping plant.
Job Requirements:
3-5 years of manufacturing experience
Ability to take and read measurements from calipers, micrometers, etc.
Experience using Microsoft Office programs
Experience in quality and monitoring manufacturing lines
Preferred Skills:
Stamping and Assembly automotive background preferred; Tool & Die background considered
Responsibilities:
Provide floor coverage of blankers, stamping lines, AP press, and roll form areas daily
Investigate Arconic-related customer complaints or non-conformities in the facility
Share complaint details with supervision and appropriate mill personnel
Collect and store incoming coil travelers of arriving Arconic coil material
Inspect material in the Ford DSP coil field for non-conformities; travel to DIT warehouse may be necessary
Collect blanking flatness data from Ford DSP blanker production runs and investigate out-of-spec flatness issues
Input flatness data into Flatness app using Arconic-supplied computers
Collect samples, photos, and pertinent information on concerns/issues encountered during shifts
Assist FSE with sorting and sample retrieval when necessary (rarely requiring travel to DIT Warehouse)
Join weekly FSE calls with mill when available
Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
