What are the responsibilities and job description for the Robot Technician position at Entegee?
Primary responsibilities include post-power on debug and start-up of robotic welding systems. This would include everything from chasing out wiring mistakes made during the panel build and field wiring stage of integration to background programming of the FANUC robots (home, zero, maintenance positions, etc.). It would NOT include a robotic programming application.
The travel would consist of providing installation and start-up support of robotic welding cells at customer sites (including 1 month in Mexico starting in mid-August). Travel, lodging and meal expenses are paid for any work locations away from the home office in Bettendorf, IA.
· 5 years of experience as a Robot/Controls Technician
· Experienced with Fanuc Controllers (debugging & background programming)
· Experience with machine building, control panel wiring/building
· Willing to work OT
· Willing to travel (expenses paid)
· Strong communication & leadership skills
