Summary: Seeking an experienced Senior Test Technician with expertise in testing and validation of construction equipment, AG/Farm or mobile equipment maintenance.
Job Requirements:
- Associate's Degree with five (5) years of experience in engineering or equivalent
- Certified Welder (CW), CDL or Telehandler/AWP License or ability to obtain certification within 30 days
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Hydraulics and Electronics
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, engineering drawings, and 3D CAD models
- Experience in data acquisition equipment (eDAQ or similar) is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Mechanical experience is essential
- Foresight to address potential technical issues with fabrication and machining
- Knowledge of fabrication and machining terms and definitions
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests, record data manually or using data acquisition systems, troubleshoot vehicle systems (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic), perform basic failure analysis, follow detailed test procedures
- Assemble/disassemble complex projects and mechanical structures by referencing drawings/work instructions; fabricate complex/custom parts and test fixtures
- Conduct testing of prototypes/current products independently to determine capabilities/conformance to specifications/regulations
- Develop/mentor fellow technicians; identify/implement continuous improvement projects; communicate/collaborate cross-functionally to resolve problems
- Select appropriate test instruments for product testing; plan/schedule activities for efficient completion of assignments
