Looking for a highly organized, creative, and energetic individual interesting in gaining experience in the exciting worlds of radio, music and events. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of experience in similar role within media, entertainment, or event industries and a knack for marketing and branding. Proficiency in MS Office suite – specifically Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint – a plus, along with the ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines. Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and ability to communicate clearly and effectively essential for success. 4-year degree in marketing, communications, advertising or a related field preferred. Salary: low 30s.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate various cluster and station master calendars for all promotions, events, contests, etc. This will be in conjunction with Sales Promotion Coordinator and Event Coordinator.
- Oversee all station contesting including: proper vetting and adherence to legal requirements of contest rules and regulations, maintenance of contest files, proper disposal of listener information and ensuring contests are launched across all channels.
- Assist with programming contesting support
- Ensure all legal requirements from corporate are followed
- Oversee 1099 Release forms and any other Record Label compliance for contests
- Oversee all special programming projects developed for specific stations or across the cluster.
- Ensure all marketing, promotions, web content launch on time with all programming needs/timelines
- Manage and build contest campaigns in Vibes, Second Street and vPromo
- Manage station contest compliance including but limited to posting contest rules, material terms and maintain contest files
- Submit guest lists for all brand sponsored shows and events
- Coordinate with Front Desk for winner interaction
- Work with Events Director on coordination for any programming and on-site giveaways
- Write copy for on-air promotion vessels for station and sales promotions and support Event Coordinator on the copy for sales events
- Organize weekly station email blasts
- Work with Creative Department for the creation and design of promotional materials for programming initiative
- Supervise part-time staff for promotional execution and support
- Brainstorm and creatively collaborate with programming and sales departments for client and station event presentations, onsite activations, promotional concepts, and contests.
- Assist in the planning and execution of station specific or cluster-wide large-scale events
