As an Associate Business Analyst, you’ll work to develop process solutions for digital advertising billing and fulfillment systems for a growing digital business for Entravision’s US Media Group. You must understand the needs of different user persons including Sales, Ad Operations and Client Services and be able to articulate these to various groups. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and help implement a deployment plan. You will be asked to wear many hats and be a front-line contributor in leading process flows. You will be the voice of the business to our outsourced development team and answer any questions and provide clarification on requirements. If you do not know the answer, you will find out from the relevant party. We are looking for someone who is comfortable wearing many hats and who is great at building relationships, someone who will go the extra mile, and wants to help make our digital operations more efficient.
Required
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3 years of experience working as a business analyst, preferably with Salesforce, marketing tech, ad tech or media knowledge.
- Experience working with new product development, creation of various artifacts such as Use Cases, Data Flows and Process Flows for specific features within a project release.
- Plan and facilitate requirements definition sessions with stakeholders to capture business requirements.
- Work on delivery feasibility and management of project scope, resources and schedule
- Create detailed requirements, use cases, guides, and diagrams for product releases.
- Must be able to write clear and concise business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Capable of analyzing and documenting data transformations and logic that need to be built to support the exchange of information, both internal and external.
- Assist in the writing of the test plans, cases & scripts as required.
- Experience working within standard Agile methodologies, including, but not limited to, Scrum and Kanban.
- Lead process improvement with your business partners and identify bottlenecks.
- Experience working with a distributed team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or foreign equivalent required.
Preferred
- Strong core Business Analysis skills in the areas of elicitation, requirements analysis, business process improvement, requirements modeling, gap analysis, functional decomposition and design, data modeling, rapid prototyping, and other techniques (Agile experience preferable).
- Strong analytical skills with an understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Experience with JIRA or any other project management tool
- Proficient in generating documentation for business and technical workflow, structuring requirements documents and documenting complex specifications.
- Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
- Understanding of general operational business flow.
- Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and juggling simultaneous projects.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate, facilitate and advocate and work well in a cross-functional team environment
- Learns quickly when facing new problems, enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks, and is willing to experiment and try anything to find solutions.
- Ability to effectively manage and facilitate meetings.
- Self-motivated, strong initiative, flexible and good time management skills
- Help with UAT Testing and analysis of test results.
