And, of course, to be themselves. Position Overview: The Certificate Services team is looking for a Business Support Analyst to be located in our Ottawa office on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will work with all aspects of the business to create queries and mine and analyze data to produce reports in support of sales, marketing, verification, support and financial projection and reconciliation. This resource will also be responsible for leading a data analyst intern. We need a strong communicator who can be a facilitator within the team and with other departments. Responsibilities: Act as the expert of in-house data sources, being adept at quickly extracting and analyzing data from these sources. Work closely with sales, marketing and product teams to generate targeting reports/lists for various campaigns and geographies. The role will also work with the product team to analyze, trend and interpret sales and usage data to better understand and run the business. Assist the sales operations team with sales planning, forecasting and reporting, CRM system data integrity to ensure reporting and metrics are accurate and reliable. Responsible for tracking and trending projections, and forecasts for various aspects of the business. Provide coaching, advice and management to the data analytics intern Working with the Salesforce CRM team to assist with outlining, explaining, documenting and tracking development initiatives to support the business. Run reports and create and run custom queries as needed Export data as required for business and financial analysis. Compare and reconcile data from various systems and report on anomalies and their causes. Perform forensic investigation using logs and ad-hoc queries. Perform ad-hoc data analyses as needed. Qualifications Basic: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent. Superior planning and analytical skills are a must Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities while meeting deadlines Strong change agent with particular focus on process improvement Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications (verbal, written presentation) skills Comfortable and adept at preparing executive presentations Works well independently and in a team, and is highly detailed oriented Business Intelligence systems experience Experience working in a global, diverse and multicultural environment Preferred: 5 years of experience, in a similar capacity or equivalent background MBA preferred; Accounting certification an asset Strong competence in Salesforce CRM Knowledge of the security/software/SaaS industry Project management experience Experience with software development lifecycle (agile and waterfall) Familiarity/competence with Tableau, BusinessObjects and data lakes Additional languages an asset.
