What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Specialist position at ENTRUST Solutions Group?
*MUST BE LOCATED IN Harrisburg or Lancaster, PA areas
What You’ll Do:
- Utilize design software and perform basic design engineering tasks to support underground and overhead electrical distribution projects
- Submit, manage and maintain permits as required by project needs
- Manage workload, projects and assist in production of plans, specifications, reports, diagrams, and engineering documents from preliminary scope to a construction status.
- Travel up to 20% max for field visits, project data collection, and construction coordination & verification
Required Qualifications:
- 1-5 years in electric distribution (4kV - 69kV) performing drafting and/or CAD design tasks
- Experience utilizing GIS mapping software
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision
