JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for reviewing project requirements and working with team members to collect data and develop project plans from initial stages to final engineered projects. Tasks include preparing plans, evaluating of field conditions, field verifications, design changes, and reports. Drafts detailed dimensional drawings including at times two-line and 3D drawings as required for completion of project designs and associated details.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Draft and process various environmental and development related plans and permits including but not limited to erosion and sediment control plans, grading plans, site plans, stormwater management, construction phasing plans, utility plans, and road plans

· Assist with compiling various technical reports

· Report to managers regarding various drafting, planning, and permitting work

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD software

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· Unquestioned business and personal integrity

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time (2-3 hours) with the ability to move at will; have vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; have hearing and speech skills to communicate in person, over the telephone or Teams/Skype/Zoom; have use of hands to finger, handle, type, or feel and manipulate mouse, keyboard, and computer equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Hybrid working conditions exist in either a home office environment and/or work office or job site. Must possess ability to follow general safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE. Must be able to attend meetings at various sites within and away from the Firm.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Forest Hill, MD 21050: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 1 year (Required)
