Job Summary:

Under direct supervision performs updates and additions to client Data Records using specified Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software/hardware platforms and defined specifications, procedures and methodologies to meet client deliverable expectations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Drafts electrical designs and maintains accurate records of an Electrical Distribution Systems’ field assets in a simulated live electrical environment within a Small World application on a daily basis.

· Reads and understands project specifications, procedures and requirements as necessary.

· Becomes proficient in utilization of project specific CAD software and associated applications as quickly as possible.

· Gains proficiency in all project QA Tools and resolution of QA errors as required.

· Incorporates quality feedback into daily production processes to ensure high quality work output.

· Identifies problems on Source Material and informs appropriate project members of assistance in their resolution as required.

· Meets all project targets and quality expectations within 90 days of hire and ongoing after that.

· Interfaces with team leads as required ensuring consistency in project specifications, standards, procedures and techniques.

· Develops ongoing proficiency on assigned hardware/software; participates in applicable training programs to acquire knowledge of applicable specifications and procedures

Required Qualifications:

Education, Certifications and/or Experience Required at Entry:

High school degree or equivalent.

Basic Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software and applications is desirable.

Basic Computer Assisted Drawing and Design skills with a knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and other trail point and layer based drawing applications is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Strong working knowledge of general computer applications including Windows and Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel.

Skill to use hand-eye coordination, visual (near) acuity and depth perception.

Skill to use effective verbal and listening communications.

Ability to maintain accuracy and thoroughness doing repetitive work on fixed production schedules.

Ability to accurately interpret Source Material and Documents on all simple and some medium complexity work content. Ability to acquire skills and knowledge through continuous experience and adapt as needed.

Ability to interdependently work with others to produce products/services.

Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.

Ability to read, write and speak English.

Additional Requirements

Willingness to work shift schedule and/or overtime as requested by manager.

Salary : $47,700 - $60,400
