Injection Preform / Blow Molding Bottle Manufacturer
We are a Food and Beverage Plastic Packaging company, seeking a Human Resource Administrator who can join our team and assist us in our goal to continue our commitment to excellence, as a world class manufacturer.
Position: Human Resources Administrator
Department: Human Resources
Location: Bethlehem, PA (not remote)
Position Overview:
The Human Resource Administrator will provide an instrumental role in providing general administrative to the plant manager. The qualified candidate will need to work well under pressure and have strong multi-tasking and administrative skills. This position is full time and reports to the plant manager.
This position will oversee and supervise the plant’s Human resource functions. This position will also work with other accounting and admin functions.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintaining and updating employee files: HR, Employee Health, Temp Agency, and Contract Services.
- Preparing and maintaining employee new hire packets and ensures accurate and timely completion of the new hire process and paperwork/terminate employees supplying proper documentation conducting exit interviews.
- Preparing employment status reports for payroll/ or compliance purposes.
- Processing and maintaining all workers compensation claims, unemployment request, FMLA and leaves of absences.
- Will work with temporary employment agencies to coordinate, facilitate, and transact all needed documentation and communication needed to assure weekly agency payroll request are met on a timely basis.
- Will manage temporary employment agency contracts, performance and offer recommendations for change, improvement.
- Will work with site leadership to make best decisions for filling labor positions via Temp Agencies and best decisions leading Temp agency personnel to become company employees.
- Assures that managers receive all receiving and shipping reports, have responsibility for raw materials, receiving, tracking and ordering.
- Prepares documents and conducts safety meetings alongside the site leadership.
- Safety committee member
- Maintains the OSHA 300 log
- Synergize with site leadership to prepare S.O. P’s process documentation and training documentation.
- Support production using SAP to create work order, close work orders
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual English and Spanish a plus
Education and/or Experience:
- High School graduate or GED recipient
- 3 years of HR experience
- 3 years of accounting experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
