Our ideal candidate would be handling materials, providing professional service of our client’s landscapes, both residential and commercial, with our comprehensive plant health care program. Key responsibilities include planting, trimming, spraying, and fertilizing. The candidate will work under a qualified supervisor while preparing for the Licensed Spray Technician Exam. Key responsibilities include planting, trimming, spraying, and fertilizing. You will learn how to diagnose and correct lawn and landscape problems while also learning how to manage insect and disease control. What you’ll do:
· Perform pre and post-vehicle and trailer checks for safe operation. Fill out a daily sheet and turn it in weekly.
· Ability to perform preventative maintenance on machinery or vehicles as needed including the addition of fluids and greasing of moving parts.
· Understand GVWR and how it relates to truck and trailer limits.
· Coordinate daily logistics with project supervisors or managers.
· Conduct complete tree, lawn, and shrub care, including insect and disease control, fertilization, and weather protection.
· Safely apply pesticides and herbicides and follow all labeled product's safety and use directions.
· Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
· Respond to any specific requests of the client while on-site working for the client. Notify the Manager of work requests that are not within the scope of work as specified
Qualifications:
· Minimum requirements are Class R Driver’s license with acceptable MVR report.
· Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and insurable Motor Vehicle Record
· Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
