OPPORTUNITY

  • Do you want to facilitate environmental change and improve the effectiveness of climate, environment, and development programs worldwide through communication, knowledge management, and learning?
  • Do you want to help others have a positive impact on the environment?

That's where Environmental Incentives comes in.

Our team of committed and creative professionals is helping organizations achieve their goals as they tackle some of the most pressing problems of our time: the climate crisis and achieving system-wide change for the good of communities and the planet. Communications and knowledge management, when designed strategically and followed systematically, enables environment and development practitioners to learn, make evidence-based decisions, and achieve better outcomes. It is a core pillar of EI's work helping client teams achieve durable change for good.

Environmental Incentives is USAID's partner in managing and sharing knowledge about the Agency's climate, environment, energy, and infrastructure programs. Through our work on USAID's family of "Links" websites, EI provides USAID with high-quality technical assistance to create, capture, and share knowledge about USAID programming to a diverse array of internal and external audiences — including key partners and stakeholders and field missions – for greater effectiveness. EI's strategic support focuses on people, processes, and platforms to ensure that USAID maximizes its information and knowledge assets, supports its partners and beneficiaries, and enhances its efforts to improve effectiveness and impact.

Environmental Incentives seeks to hire a Communications and Knowledge Management Program Associate to support USAID's ability to plan, implement, and communicate effective programming in the climate, biodiversity, environment, energy, and infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will support the work of a team of communications, knowledge management, and learning professionals, and collaborate with USAID staff in Washington, DC to develop, capture, curate, organize, catalog, and share technical products that inform key stakeholders of successful USAID projects, lessons learned, outcomes, and thought leadership.
