We have an exciting opportunity for a remote Provider Enrollment Supervisor focused on our Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist Medicine Service Lines. The Provider Enrollment Specialist II is responsible for overseeing the staff and workflows within the department; including quality, production, and AR.
This Provider Enrollment Supervisor role is a remote position, allowing the Provider Enrollment Supervisor to be based anywhere in the country.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise the open AR relative to global agreements and special handling cases.- Monitor the progress made towards pending provider enrollment processes that affect revenue.
- Assist manager with start-up monitoring and completions.
- Develop, evaluate, implement and maintain processes, policies and procedures to ensure standard operating procedures are adhered to with regard to the quality and timely submission of applications.
- Oversee the training of staff on proper processing practices, billing data systems, and payer regulations as pertinent to the employee’s position.
- Ensure that production/quality requirements are met as they relate to departmental standards.
- Keep Manager aware of any changes in enrollment requirements by payers or facilities.
- Interview, hire, on-board and perform evaluations of assigned staff; recommending merit increases, promotions, and/or corrective actions as requested by management.
- Motivate employees and support a positive morale throughout the team.
- Identify trends in all functional areas to allow for training, development, and continuous process improvement utilizing Lean tools and principles.
- Ensure that excellent customer service is maintained across facilities and with patients.
Supervisor responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with established internal controls.- Conduct new employee training and orientation to ensure that all elements of the Training Program have been met, including reviewing work until the new hire is able to be fully productive.
- Conduct the training of staff on proper processing practices, billing data systems, and payer regulations as pertinent to the employee’s position.
- Monitor production requirements to ensure they meet established monthly deadlines.
- Process payroll for assigned employees, including tracking employee time off requests.
- Assist with interviewing candidates, on-boarding new hires and completing evaluations and corrective actions of assigned staff.
- Motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
- Utilize continuous quality improvement processes to improve and maintain quality results.
- Identify trends and recommend process improvement utilizing Lean tools and principles.
- Adhere to Information Security Policies and ensure Envision Healthcare is as secure as possible.
- Maintain confidentiality of all Protected Healthcare Information as defined by HIPAA.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of previous enrollment or related experience.
- Demonstrated expertise working with databases and MS Excel.
- Government healthcare payor experience preferred.
