Position Summary:
The Nomad Assembler II role will complete kitting and/or assembly of mechanical/electrical components as assigned by production leader. This role follows work instructions closely to ensure that quality standards are met. Additionally, role will ensure that documentation requirements are followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Kit and assemble small accessory and finished goods kits by following work instructions.
- Follow work instructions and procedures to assemble and test portable X-ray devices (Nomad Pro2) and associated components (Handsets, Charging Cradles).
- Uses hand and power tools to fit and adjusts part to meet the assembly requirements of the product.
- Complete DHR completion for finished goods assemblies & applicable SAP transactions
- Identifies quality issues and defects, raises concerns to the attention of the supervisor or manufacturing engineer.
- Responsible for meeting daily production goals.
- Responsible for following the Radiation Monitoring Program and report any violations.
- Responsible for upholding quality, safety and 5S standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D required
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow assembly work instructions closely.
- One to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift to 35 pounds, complete assisted lifts of 35-50 pounds.
- Push or pull containers on pallet jacks, repetitive bending and stooping, and may require occasional lifting overhead.
- Must be able to stand at workstation for long periods of time.
