Position Overview:

This role is part of a Software Licensing Improvement Initiative with an automotive client focused on the development of a new product management framework. This work will include the deployment of our immediate corrective action pilot; expansion of those pilot approaches to new data-sets, new product lines and new regions; workstreams to automate the reporting cycles and create a dashboard for key stakeholders.  Our engagement has a significant, sophisticated and interdependent set of key work streams to manage the development of strategy, the delivery of product, and the expansion of pilots to deliver both immediate enterprise value and the long term, end-game vision for successful management of Licenses and Data Fees.

Position Responsibilities:

•            Provide the Product Manager and Senior executives with business case rationales, product descriptions, communications planning and ongoing communications, the management of workshops and responsibility for the quality and facilitation of all product management governance and steering reviews

•            This individual will also be responsible for the developing detailed resource requirements and plans (budget/heads/skills/costs) to the Product Manager

•            Independently take in-flight responsibilities for the quality and delivery of specific product proposals in support of the Product Manager’s workload

•            Take the initiative to independently support resolution of key, complex, large-scale, (“go/no-go”) issues required to keep key products on track (as they emerge)

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years professional experience leading teams in Product Management
• Strong leadership abilities (this role might have the potential to be a team lead for the engagement in the future)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, positive, consultative verbal and written communication skills
• Independent self-starter that can deliver results autonomously
• Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Ability to drive progress and alignment across diverse business groups
• Strong stakeholder management ability

Desired Qualifications:

• Management Consulting, Automotive, or Software Industry experience
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
